The All India Association for Educational Research (AIAER) addresses itself to the problems of research in education in general but more attention is given to such problems from the Indian scenario. Therefore, the membership is open to all those persons who are willing to associate with this goal. We welcome your help, guidance, and support.
Objectives of the Association are:
To develop and promote educational research;

History
All India Association for Educational Research was conceptualised in 1983 at an informal meeting of a few teacher
fellows and research fellows doing their doctoral research at the Centre of Advanced Study in Education (CASE), MS
University of Baroda, Vadodara, Gujarat. At that time, it was named as “Indian Educational Research Association” As
no faculty from CASE agreed to take up the responsibility, the proposed “Indian Educational Research Association”
could not be registered at Vadodara, Gujarat. However, “A Few Useful Journals and Educational Organisations”
compiled by Sunil Behari Mohanty was the first publication of this unregistered association. Its second publication was
“Bibliography on Student Teaching” prepared by Sunil Behari Mohanty, brought out in 1987 with its cover page printed
by Late D. K. Sharma of J V Jain College, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh and Mohit Mohan Mohanty of SCS College, Puri,
Orissa got the materials cyclostyled.
MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
JAIAER is a peer-reviewed journal. After preliminary scrutiny, manuscripts of AIAER members were prepared and
submitted as per JAIAER guidelines are sent for peer review and feedback, if any are received from reviewers are
intimated to the authors.
Manuscripts are to be typed on one side of the paper double-spaced with margins 1 inch (2.5 cm) all around, left
justified only.
For anonymity in the reviewing process, paper title, name(s) of the author(s), and address for correspondence
should be placed on a separate sheet.
The first page of the manuscript should include the title only.
An abstract of 150 words should accompany each manuscript.
New paragraphs should be indicated by clear indentation.
Quoted passages longer than 3 lines should be indented throughout.
There should not be endnotes and footnotes.
Single foreign words and phrases should be italicized.
Tables and Figures should be avoided and if included, must not be included as part of the text. These have to be
provided in separate sheets and the approximate position of tables and figures must be indicated in the
manuscript. Tables should be numbered by Roman numerals and Figures by Arabic numerals.
Manuscripts should run between 20 and 50 pages in 11-point type.
Each manuscript must accompany the undertaking of the author(s) that the said manuscript has neither been sent
to any other journal or to any other publisher. Authors are also to mention their AIAER membership numbers.
